Aleris provides a range of hospital and radiology services nationwide. Our services cover the majority of medical specialisations - and our goal is to offer comprehensive patient care from diagnosis to treatment on behalf of the national health service and to private patients.

In Norway, we have a staff of 1,100 people working at 14 hospitals and 13 radiology departments. Aleris Helse has an annual turnover of NOK 1.5 billion.

We are part of the Aleris Group, which is the largest private healthcare company in Scandinavia. The Group as a whole employs some 4,500 people and has an annual turnover of approx. NOK 5.5 billion.

Research and Development

Innovation and creative thinking are vital to successfully meet the challenges facing the healthcare sector, both today and in the future. As part of our focus on continuous improvement, Aleris has established an R&D fund.

The fund is intended to support research of direct relevance to patients and users. The fund is the only one of its kind, since it allows funds to be channelled back into our operations and reinforce our R&D efforts. The objective is both to cultivate a continuous-development culture among our employees and ensure that the initiatives supported by the fund provide Aleris’s patients and users a better, healthier life.
