Radiology (scans and X-rays) requires a doctor’s referral
We can now offer ultrasound-guided fine-needle cytology of the thyroid. This highly sensitive and precise method is used to diagnose benign and malignant tumours in the thyroid gland. Read more about thyroid cancer on Aleris Kreftsenter’s website.
Same-day appointment for scans and X-rays
If you want to pay privately for your scan or X-ray, we can generally offer a same-day appointment. As a rule, your referring doctor will receive a reply within two working days in connection with routine imaging procedures.
Your scan or X-ray referral is valid for use with use, even though Aleris is not specifically named in it. You are free to choose where you have the scan or X-ray procedure performed.

Collaboration with the Norwegian National Health Service
We have been contracted by the Norwegian National Health Service to provide a number of diagnostic services. That means you can book an appointment with us and pay only the normal National Health charge of NOK 250. Referrals will always be assessed on the basis of the medical problem's seriousness and the clinical information provided by your doctor.
